Triple H Has Two Words For London Mayor With WWE WrestleMania Dreams

Triple H WWE Raw

Triple H has responded to a series of surprising comments from Sadiq Kan.

There have long been calls for the United Kingdom to host WrestleMania. SummerSlam famously headed across the Atlantic in 1992, and Money In The Bank landed in London in 2023. During a surprise appearance at the event, John Cena added to the speculation by shouting far and wide that London deserves WrestleMania.

With WWE holding an increasing number of events overseas, an international WrestleMania seems closer than ever to many. To add further fuel to the fire, the Mayor of London has now got involved.

In a new press release, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said the English capital had the potential to hold the first-ever international WrestleMania.

“London is a world leader in major sports events and has been at the heart of some of the most memorable sporting moments of the last few decades…I believe that London has the potential to host the first international WrestleMania.”

In response, Triple H took to social media to write “Let’s talk.”

What Does This Mean For WWE WrestleMania?

Despite the comments from Sadiq Khan and Triple H, Nick Khan recently confirmed there are no plans to move WrestleMania outside of the United States. In fact, the WWE President confirmed that none of the “big five” Premium Live Events will be held outside of the United States and Canada in the near future.

“We sat down together a few years ago and decided, so the big five premium live events … should be in the United States or Canada. All of the other events, the goal is to have them from international locations.”

WWE is gearing up for a series of international events in the coming months, with Backlash, Clash At The Castle, Bash In Berlin, and King And Queen of the Ring all taking place outside of North America.
