Kevin Owens Makes Bold Claim About WWE Elimination Chamber
Kevin Owens is in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match and he’s very impressed by the talent that has been assembled for the match.
In the opening match on WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Kevin Owens faced off against Dominik Mysterio in a Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. R-Truth was at ringside doing his usual hijinks that included sitting on a chair rather than helping Dominik by giving him a chair. Owens capitalized to hit a Popup Powerbomb to win.
Thanks to that victory, Owens is in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match at the Elimination Chamber PLE on February 24th. The winner of the Men’s Chamber match will get to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Joining Owens in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match are some big name WWE stars Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight and the current US Champion Logan Paul.
It’s a strong group of wrestlers since Orton, McIntyre & Lashley are former WWE Champions, Owens is a former WWE Universal Champion, LA Knight is a main event level performer and Paul is holding the US Title.
Kevin Owens Feels Like This May Be The Biggest Chamber Match Ever
While talking to WWE cameras in a digital interview, Owens spoke about this year’s Chamber Match and why it feels especially big.
“This may very well be the biggest Chamber event, the biggest Chamber match we’ve ever had as well. It’s in Perth, it’s gonna be in front of thousands and thousands and thousands of people that have been waiting for a PLE in their city, in their country, on their continent for a very long time.”
“It really does not get much bigger than this. WrestleMania is huge, but Elimination Chamber is gonna give WrestleMania a run for its money as far as the sheer magnitude of the event and what it means to everybody. Chamber, bring it on, as risky as it is, as dangerous as it is. I’m all in, I’m gonna give everything I have, I’m gonna leave it all in Perth.”
