Kenny Omega Teases The Elite On AEW Collision

Could Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page be heading for hostile territory on AEW Collision?

The Elite’s long-term future in AEW had been the subject of some speculation in recent months as Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page all negotiated new deals with the company. They ultimately have all re-signed with AEW but according to one report, the issues between the group and CM Punk were said to have slowed down the negotiations.

Punk had issues with every member of The Elite and that boiled over after All Out in September 2022 when Punk, Omega, and The Bucks were involved in their infamous backstage fight.

Amid the saga of whether Punk would return to the company or not, it was believed that he would be kept away from The Elite as they didn’t want to work with him and would find a home on the new Saturday night Collision show. And so it has proved to be so far but that could be about to change.

Kenny Omega teased Collision for The Elite

On the 200th episode of Dynamite, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were in action against Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal in a big trios match. As always when Jarrett’s mob is involved in action, chaos broke out but Adam Page was on hand to lay out Jarrett with a big Buckshot Lariat which allowed Omega to nail Jay Lethal with a One-Winged Angel for the win.

After the bout, The Elite took the microphone with Adam Page paying tribute for 200 episodes and noting “Here’s to the next 200.” Kenny Omega, however, then drew a reaction from the crowd as he noted that “Whether it be Dynamite, Ring of Honor, Rampage, heck even Collision, you’re gonna be seeing more of us.”

So it could be sooner rather than later that The Elite shares a backstage area with CM Punk once again.
