Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho Added To Dynamite Anniversary Show

Kenny Omega Chris Jericho

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho will team up once again.

The rivalry between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho goes further back than the history of AEW. The two men met for the first time at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January 2018 which marked Jericho’s first non-WWE match in nineteen years. Omega won that bout to retain his IWGP US Championship but Jericho avenged that defeat in the main event of AEW’s first pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing in May 2019.

However, one thing Jericho and Omega do have in common is their association with the slimy Don Callis – something both men have been made to regret in recent months.

At WrestleDream, Jericho and Omega teamed with Kota Ibushi to take on The Don Callis Family trio of Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, and Will Ospreay in a huge trios match. Omega’s run of bad luck continued as Callis’ family came out on top but Jericho and Omega will get another bite at the cherry.

At the post-WrestleDream press conference, Tony Khan booked a huge tag team bout for the fourth anniversary edition of Dynamite as he confirmed Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho will team up once again to face Konosuke Takeshita and Sammy Guevara.

Also on that special anniversary show, Adam Copeland will address the fans as he makes his first Wednesday night appearance following his shock WrestleDream debut for AEW.
