Justin Credible Recalls “Babysitting Scott Hall” During WWE “Plane Ride From Hell”

Former WWE Superstar Justin Credible has opened up about Scott Hall’s troubles during the WWE 2002 ‘Plane Ride from Hell’ and tour where Credible said he had “babysit” Hall.

Season 3 of Vice’s “Dark Side of the Ring” premiered last week with a focus on WWE’s infamous ‘Plane Ride from Hell.’ It was a WWE chartered plane that left the UK for the US in May 2002 with a bunch of drunken, drugged up wrestlers on the flight. The episode has led to a lot of criticism for WWE Hall of Famers like Ric Flair, Scott Hall, as well as Brock Lesnar and the late Curt Hennig.

During the “Plane Ride from Hell” episode, Justin Credible was one of the former WWE superstars that recalled what it was like being on the plane.

Credible, whose real name is PJ Polaco, is a retired wrestler that is 47 years old now. Credible appeared on Legion of Raw where he talked about how he had to take care of Hall during the entire UK trip:

“I’m not gonna sugarcoat this ’cause I don’t care. I was literally babysitting Scott Hall the whole trip. I made sure we sat at the front of the plane. I put him on the window side. From the beginning, it was not that he was incapacitated. I was just like, ‘Nah, you stay here,’ ’cause I wanted to get a good night’s rest.”

One of the stories that Credible told on the “Plane Ride from Hell” was when he had to put Scott Hall in a wheelchair and wheel him through the airport. When he saw WWE’s VP of Talent Relations at the time, Jim Ross, he told Jim he was just doing what Scott needed. Credible told customs agents in the airport that Hall had a “condition” and that’s how they got past security.

Another wrestler that spoke on the “Dark Side of the Ring” show was Tommy Dreamer, who got in trouble for insensitive remarks he made. Dreamer issued an apology, but he is still suspended by Impact Wrestling for an undetermined amount of time.

Ric Flair was also accused by a stewardess of inappropriate behavior during the episode that aired. Flair denied her accusations in a statement he released on social media.
