Jon Moxley Set For Big Match With Surprising Tag Team Partner
Jon Moxley recently returned to Japan for the first time in over three years and it won’t be long before he returns and this time he’s bringing a tag team partner he’s only been on the same side as once before.
At Dominion, on June 4th Jon Moxley teamed with Claudio Castagnoli and Shota Umino as they unsuccessfully challenged Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, and Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
Following the bout, Moxley admitted he had plans to return to NJPW and Japan once again and fans won’t have to wait long for that to happen.
The former AEW World Champion has answered a challenge made by El Desperado following the two star’s brutal match against one another at Music City Mayhem in Nashville, TN in July 2022. Desperado wanted a rematch with Moxley and the BCC man was only too happy to oblige as long as it was a tag team match.
Moxley left El Desperado to pick a partner while revealing that he will be teaming with former ROH World Champion Homicide in the bout.
