Jon Moxley Could Make History On AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley is set to add to his list of AEW accolades on the next edition of Dynamite.

As the only three-time AEW World Champion, Mox is certainly a competitor Tony Khan feels he can put the weight of the company on when he needs to. This was more evident than ever following the post-All Out brawl between CM Punk and The Elite. Moxley was set to take a break from action, but swiftly returned to action when needed.

However, there is a fairly staggering statistic going in to the 22nd February 2023 edition of Dynamite. Should Jon Moxley win his match, he will become the first wrestler to pick up 100 victories in the company, which according to CageMatch equates to a 86% win ratio.

At AEW Revolution on 5th March, Jon Moxley’s rivalry with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page is set to come to an end as the pair compete in a Texas Death Match. The storyline between the two has run since October last year, when Page suffered a legitimate concussion in a match with Moxley.

Moxley has been the subject of other media attention recently, after he was forced off an event in Ireland when AEW announced that their first house show would take place just 24 hours after the scheduled appearance.

The card for tonight’s AEW Dynamite currently stands as follows:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Evil Uno

  • The Acclaimed vs. Lee Moriarty & Big Bill
