John Cena retired from Wrestling at the tail end of 2025 when he tapped out to Gunther in his final match, one that capped off a year-long retirement tour.
He has said that he will return to working with WWE in a behind-the-scenes role, but before that, the company summoned him to host WrestleMania 42.
Cena’s presence at the Showcase of the Immortals elevated the crowd, and he was also part of a big moment with Bianca Belair, who made her way to the ring to announce that she was pregnant.
Cena has been active on social media and appeared on some major podcasts since his retirement. He has recently posted about a returning WWE NXT star.
