Jimmy Uso Breaks Character To Address Real-Life Relationship With WWE Rival

Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Solo Sikoa in WWE’s SmackDown brand.

The feud had its roots in a family clash that exploded right after Solo Sikoa claimed the United States Championship. With each passing month, the tension between Sikoa (and his MFT) and Jimmy Uso (and Jacob Fatu) has only become more and more pronounced. But this bitter rivalry is limited on-screen only. Off-screen, the dynamic between Uso and Sikoa shifts entirely.

On Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, Jimmy Uso stepped outside his usual WWE persona to speak candidly about his bond with his real-life brother. Beyond the punches and pinfalls, Jimmy Uso genuinely cherishes his relationship with Solo, and he’s genuinely happy to share the ring with his brother.

He said, “I love him. We’re very close now, super close because we are very, very, very much alike. I always say, I think he’s my twin. Me and Josh (Jey Uso), we’re close, but I always look at Solo and I’m like, man. We joke alike. We kinda look alike. He gets me. I love him. I’m so glad here (in WWE).”

Trish Stratus Is Jimmy Uso’s Childhood Crush

Jimmy Uso dropped another truth on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, which was the reveal of his childhood crush. When veteran star Trish Stratus came up during their conversation, the SmackDown star broke out with pure honesty, remembering how she was the only superstar whose poster was allowed in his room.

His confession was personal, relatable, and resonant with fans who grew up admiring legends. For Uso, Trish’s return to WWE and her ongoing success are more than nostalgia; it’s inspiration.

“Hers was the only poster my mama allowed me to have – my first poster in my room… Trish [Stratus] was the first one I was allowed to have. [Stephanie McMahon: Trish was your first crush?] All of us. Probably 80% of the male population here on Earth… She is killing, and it gives us motivation to keep going,” he confessed. (From 29:48 to 30:30).

The Quintessential WWE Diva performed at the July 2025 Evolution 2 event, facing off against Tiffany Stratton. While she failed to capture the WWE Women’s Championship, she did earn a standing ovation from the fans and critics for continuing to push boundaries at the age of 49.
