The tragedy of Jay Briscoe’s passing has led to his wife asking for prayers as their daughter undergoes surgery following a car accident.
AEW and Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan broke the shocking news of Jay Briscoe’s [Jamin Pugh] death on social media. Dave Meltzer followed up by stating that Briscoe appeared to have been killed in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware that claimed the life of another person and left two children hospitalised.
PWInsider reported that the driver of the other car involved in the accident was the other fatality and now the condition of the children involved has been made clearer by Jay Briscoe’s wife Ashley Pugh. She took to Facebook to ask for prayers as her 12-year-old daughter Gracie undergoes surgery as a result of the accident:
“We need prayers! Gracie is on her way into surgery on her back. Jamin would want the whole world praying for his little girl. WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!! Pray for the doctors and everyone working on her! Pray for her precious legs to move again! Pray for Jayleigh who has some pretty serious injuries, but is stable and resting! Pray for Gannon waiting at home! Pray for strength for all of us! We have a long long road ahead of us!”
The wrestling world has been paying tribute to Jay Briscoe on social media with many sharing their own memories and thoughts on the Ring of Honor legend.
