Jade Cargill Falls To Tiffany Stratton At WWE SummerSlam

Tiffany Stratton Beat Jade Cargill At WWE SummerSlam

Tiffany Stratton retained her WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

Tiffany Stratton has been one of the fastest rising stars in WWE. Earlier this year, she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax to capture the WWE Women’s Championship. She has since held it for over 200 days.

Meanwhile, Jade Cargill earned her first shot at the WWE Women’s Title after winning the Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Tonight at SummerSlam, Tiffy Time and The Storm clashed for the title. Despite Stratton’s attempts to take advantage, Cargill dominated her 26-year-old opponent.

As Cargill attempted to deliver her finisher to Stratton off the top rope, the latter countered before hitting The Storm with her Prettiest Moonsault Ever to retain the title.

Tiffany Stratton Responded To Criticism Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam

Before her WWE Women’s Championship match with Jade Cargill at SummerSlam, Tiffany Stratton addressed being criticized for acting heelish despite being cheered by fans in an interview with Busted Open Radio.

The 26-year-old champion pointed out that she sees no reason to change her character when her “mean girl” persona is working and fans are liking it.

I got cheered starting in Australia. It made its way to America. Why would I change anything? Why would I start acting different if the mean girl persona is working and people are liking it and cheering me? I feel like the moment I do start acting like a good guy, I feel like that’s when people would turn on me and maybe start booing me. Why would I change anything?
