Izzi Dame’s NXT Women’s North American Title Gets New Challenger
NXT New Year’s Evil proved to be a successful one for Izzi Dame, despite losing her grudge match to Tatum Paxley. Dame and Paxley have been at each other’s throats since Dame cost Paxley the NXT Women’s Championship.
The night turned in her favor as she answered Thea Hail’s Women’s North American Championship open challenge, after Blake Monroe had been sent home following her attack on Hail earlier in the night.
Izzi took on Hail for the title and emerged victorious after hitting her with a Dame Over from the top rope, winning her first championship on the black and silver brand.
Lola Vice is coming after the NXT Women’s NA Championship
Lola Vice and Izzi Dame wrestled each other during an episode of NXT towards the end of last month, and Vice was the victor when these wrestlers met in the ring.

Following her win over Kelani Jordan tonight, Vice looked at the ringside camera and told Izzi Dame that she is coming after her Women’s North American Championship as she’s already beaten her once.
