Izzi Dame Targets Newly Crowned NXT Champion Tonight

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT dealt with the aftermath of Vengeance Day, which took place this past weekend and saw the crowning of a new champion at the show.

NXT Vengeance Day had two title matches scheduled for the event, one of which saw Tatum Paxley defeat her friend-turned-rival, Izzi Dame, for the Women’s North American Championship.

The newly crowned champion kicked off tonight’s show as she thanked the NXT Universe for sticking by her through her tough times and stated that she won the title for herself and the fans.

Her passionate promo was interrupted by Dame, who played a video package showing Paxley’s past, which showed her betraying Ivy Nile. She called Tatum a chameleon and said that she wants her title back.

As the champion tried to leave the ring, her path was blocked by The Culling, and Dame hit her with a big boot and followed it up with a powerbomb before posing with the Women’s North American Championship.
