Horrifying Police Cam Shows Vince McMahon’s High Speed Car Accident, What He Said After

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon got in a brutal accident in July 2025, and the video footage shows how serious the crash was.

Former WWE Champion Vince McMahon was involved in a serious car crash while driving in Connecticut on July 24, 2025. That same day, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan died in Florida.

The crash report noted that McMahon’s Bentley was traveling northbound on Route 15 in Westport, CT, when it crashed into the rear of a BMW 430 and then collided with a guardrail. Debris from the accident flew onto the opposite side of the road, where it was struck by a southbound Ford Fusion.

Thankfully, no one was injured, and McMahon was later issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely, both of which contributed to the accident.

In a new police cam video released by The U.S. Sun, it is clear that McMahon came very close to hitting another driver in a way that could have ended a life, but thankfully, that didn’t happen.

After a police officer finally caught up to McMahon after he crashed the car, the officer told McMahon that he was trying to stop him.

“I’m trying to catch up to you and you keep taking off. You almost hit I think 115 miles an hour.”

Vince McMahon claimed he wasn’t sure what the lights behind him were. While handing over his documents, Vince can be heard berating himself: “God damn it. Stupid f**king fool.”

Speaking to the officer, McMahon admitted the car was “too fast” and said he hadn’t driven it in a long time. He claimed he was on his way to his granddaughter’s birthday. His daughter Stephanie and son-in-law Paul “Triple H” Levesque have three daughters, and his son Shane has three sons, so it was one of Stephanie’s daughters.

When told no one was injured, McMahon reacted with relief: “Oh, s**t, that’s a miracle.”

The 80-year-old McMahon also admitted he didn’t often drive the car.

“I’m trying to drive. I haven’t been driving my car in God knows how long.”

As a billionaire many times over, McMahon has likely been driven by a driver for much of his life.

Driver Who Vince McMahon Hit Reacted To Accident

The woman Vince McMahon hit on the highway was named Barbara Doran. After the accident, she posted on Facebook, sharing her side of the incident. Doran noted that she and her dog are “mostly fine,” but she underwent a range of tests at the hospital and has a stiff neck.

Police officers told Doran that if McMahon had hit her car slightly differently, she may not have survived.

“Lucky to have survived a horrific car crash on the way up to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard last Thursday morning. Both cars totaled. Vince McMahon @Mr. McMahon /#VinceMcMahon, former chair of WWE, hit me going 80-90mph as I drove in the right lane of the narrow Merritt Highway (built in the 1930s).

I and the dog are mostly fine, but was lucky to have kept control of the car, more or less, as I shot off the road after being catapulted over 100 yards.

An unmarked state trooper had been following him as he sped in and out of cars down the highway and had just turned his lights on to pull McMahon over, but he was not in time. Both front wheels of McMahon’s Bentley were sheared off, and his airbags deployed, probably saving him from significant injury.

The trooper told me afterwards that McMahon saw me last minute and swerved, smashing into my left rear, but that if he had hit me full on, there might’ve been a very different ending for me.

Amazing that no other cars were hit, and that I got out of the car, hands shaking for a good twenty minutes, but otherwise seemingly unscathed (stiff neck later, etc., and full battery of hospital scans and bloodwork. Time will tell I am told.).

Oddly, Hulk Hogan, who made McMahon’s fame and fortune, died about the same time as the accident.

After the car accident, McMahon was charged with reckless driving and following too closely, resulting in an accident.

In October 2025, a judge ruled Vince McMahon could enter a pretrial program if he made a $1,000 charitable contribution and only drove if properly licensed and insured in the future. The charges against him would be dismissed in a year if he completed the program.

Vince McMahon’s attorney, Mark Sherman, spoke to TMZ later, stating:

It was good news. Not every car accident is a crime, and the judge agreed he deserved this dismissal, and we’re grateful for that.
