It has been announced that The Hardy Boyz will compete as a tag team in March. This will be the first time the two have teamed up in almost three years.

The Hardy Boyz reunion was announced on Twitter by Big Time Wrestling. the company confirmed that Matt and Jeff Hardy will be in tag team action on Sunday, March 12th. The brothers haven’t performed as a tag team since April 20th, 2019 when they defeated the Usos at a WWE SmackDown live event.

It is currently unknown who the veteran tag team will be facing.

The Hardy Boyz were last seen together on WWE TV on the April 9th, 2019 edition of SmackDown where they captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from the Usos. Unfortunately, their reign was cut short when they were forced to vacate the titles less than three weeks later as Jeff sustained a knee injury.

When Jeff returned to action the brothers separated on television, and Matt eventually left the company in early March 2020 when his contract expired. Only weeks later, he joined AEW where he still appears today.

Jeff Hardy stayed with WWE for almost another two years, before being released on December 9th, 2021. At the time it was reported that ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ was let go after he turned down rehab following a “rough night” at a live event. It was also noted that he had missed a number of signing appearances.

This led to huge concern from fans and colleagues alike about Jeff’s health. However, he has since been pictured looking healthy and feeling “very happy” at a recent meet and greet event.
