Hall Of Famer Feels Royce Keys Made Right Choice Going To WWE
Royce Keys is getting a lot of good reactions from peers and former legends upon his WWE debut.
AEW’s Powerhouse Hobbs, who officially made his WWE debut as Royce Keys in the 2026 Royal Rumble Match, is making an impact backstage.

Keys reportedly got a good reception backstage after the match. Some of the moments of his debut were released in a BTS video package by WWE.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T Says Royce Keys Made The Right Move
Keys is a force to be reckoned with. He seems certain to be part of the main event scene.
Hall of Famer Booker T recently said on the Hall of Fame podcast that Keys made the right choice by singing with WWE and is set to do big things.
Oh man, Will Hobbs, aka Royce Keys now. Yeah, he made the right choice. Making that walk in the Rumble, that right there is just the beginning for Royce. He’s getting ready to do some big things in the WWE. I can’t wait.
Booker T also pointed out the fact that WWE trusted Keys enough to bring him out on a grand occasion like the royal Rumble instead of something like their developmental brand NXT.
For them, being WWE, to trust Royce Keys his first night to come out at the Rumble and not NXT? [It] tells me a whole lot for them. To flash his name, ‘Will Hobbs,’ that told me a whole lot about what they think about where they’re getting ready to take Royce Keys. I can’t wait to see exactly, you know, what this thing ends up.
