Gunther Posts Cryptic 2-Word Message After Disappearing From WWE TV
WWE Superstar Gunther has finally broken his silence.
The Ring General has been away from active programming for over three weeks now. Fans thought that the company would build a big WrestleMania 42 match for the Austrian, but after retiring three legends, Triple H seems to have nothing in the tank for The Career Killer. While the WWE Universe has been clamoring for answers, the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion has sent a mysterious message.
Gunther Speaks Up Three Weeks Ahead of WrestleMania 42
The Ring General took to Instagram and uploaded a picture of himself. Dressed in his signature all-black attire and a black coat, he was holding a beverage. Captioning the post, he wrote:
Moving forward”

The caption did little to explain his motives or what he plans to do for the upcoming Showcase of the Immortals. However, this could mean that the next episode of WWE RAW could likely end his brief hiatus from the show.
Gunther was last seen in the March 2, 2026, episode of the red-branded show, where he defeated Dragon Lee. The LWO member wanted to avenge the disrespect the Austrian had been dishing out at his former World Tag Team Championship partner, AJ Styles, after retiring him at the Royal Rumble.
The feud went on for around three weeks, following which, The Career Killer disappeared from the show, whereas Lee went back to the midcard, completely rendering his action against Gunther useless.
The WWE Universe expected The Career Killer to retire Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 by accepting his open challenge. However, now Oba Femi is heading to Las Vegas to slay The Beast Incarnate. It would be interesting to see if The Ring General eventually makes his way to WM42.
