Former WWE Star Confirms Retirement

It seems that one ex-WWE star has confirmed their retirement.

Having made the move from UFC to WWE, Rowdy Ronda Rousey set about a very distinguished career, which included headlining WrestleMania 35 alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, as well as two reigns as SmackDown Women’s Champion and one time holding the red brand’s gold.

There had been talk that Ronda Rousey was going to be making a move away from WWE, with storylines reportedly accelerated to aid her exit. The first part of this came to a head at Money In The Bank, when she was attacked by friend and tag partner Shayna Baszler, costing the pair the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

The pair then faced off at SummerSlam with ‘The Queen Of Spades’ picking up the victory, leaving her opponent lying in the ring.

Taking to social media, Ronda Rousey appeared to indicate that her time in both the wrestling ring and the Octagon is over as she wrote:

Sorry, I couldn’t hear you through my retirement.” Bernie Lumen ❤️🔥

There had been rumours that Ronda Rousey was looking for a return to UFC in time for UFC 300 but those suggestions have been debunked by Dana White.
