Forgotten Former Champion Leaves WWE

WWE Logo over Roster

Former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox has apparently confirmed her departure from the company over a year after she last set foot in the ring.

Alicia Fox’s career in WWE stretches back to 2006 when she was part of the company’s then-developmental territory OVW alongside the likes of Beth Phoenix and Serena Deeb. She graduated to the main roster in 2009, a time when women’s wrestling was not showcased well in the company and the female stars were referred to as Divas.

The highlight of Fox’s in-ring career came in June 2010 when she captured the Divas Title at the Fatal Four-Way event, holding it for two months before losing the gold to Melina at that year’s SummerSlam. Fox remained with the company until 2019.

Now on social media, the star has indicated in her bio that she is “FKA Alicia” and has put an end date on her WWE career as 2023, indicating that her time as a WWE Superstar has now come to an end.

She last competed in a WWE ring at the 2022 Royal Rumble as an entrant in the women’s Rumble match, but her last outing on Raw or SmackDown came back in April 2019 when she lost to Becky Lynch on the red brand.
