Finn Balor: “I Need To Remove That Stain From My WWE Career”

Finn Balor is facing CM Punk at Elimination Chamber with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

He had previously faced The Best in the World for the championship, but he couldn’t secure the win.

Now, he has a second chance.

Finn Balor wants to remove a stain from his career

Ahead of Elimination Chamber, The Judgment Day member appeared on ESPN SportsCenter.

In that conversation, he was asked about how he felt and what he had learned from the match at Belfast.

Finn Balor claimed that after Punk beat him at his turf, he now plans on doing the same at Chicago.

Learned a lot from that first match. Belfast, my home country of Ireland. Obviously, I was on my own turf and Punk beat me. So, my plan in Chicago is to be the party pooper and on his turf, beat him. You know, they say you can learn a lot from a win, but I feel like I learned a lot from the loss because the last 10 years, I feel like my career has kind of had a stain on it. Not having been able to recover the momentum I had when I won the first Universal Championship. I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to right the wrong.

I feel like I really need to rewrite the narrative and you know, remove the stain from my career.
