WWE Diva Shelly Martinez Shares Heartbreaking Story Of Struggle
Speaking on her YouTube channel, the former diva detailed her struggles, saying she got hit on by strangers and received invitations to hang out with them while working with delivery service Postmates.
After I decided to retire from wrestling in 2018, around that time, there was no Uber Eats, but there was Postmates. Postmates was very, very new. I can find new places to go to or whatever. I can drive around town, and I’ll just wear really cute outfits and feel good about myself while I’m working. I’d smoke a joint the entire time when I was in my car.
She goes on to reveal that rich strangers would ask to hang out with her based on how she looked.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been hit on by rich a** people because I would be in the Beverly Hills area or the West Side, and I would go to famous people’s houses. They would offer me money to come inside and hang out, and they would smell that my car smelled, and it was a whole journey.
Martinez also reveals in the episode that she wanted to hook up with major WWE star CM Punk. The star eventually got involved with one of Punk’s friends instead.
