Ex-WWE Star Scarlett Bordeaux Confesses: “Like This Glamorous, Devilish S*x Pot”

Scarlett Bordeaux made a huge confession about her run in the company.

Scarlett Bordeaux worked for the WWE for several years. However, she spent almost all of her time being the valet of her husband, Karrion Kross. Scarlett rarely competed in the ring on television.

Despite not competing in the ring, Scarlett was able to stand out from the other women in the division. She was able to stand out due to her fashion sense. Some of the outfits she wore on television were a bit too much by WWE standards. However, it helped her get over with the fans since they couldn’t take their eyes off her. Eventually, she and her husband, Karrion Kross, parted ways with the WWE.

Scarlett Bordeaux revealed the inspiration for her gimmick

During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Scarlett Bordeaux said she wasn’t getting a lot of TV time, which made her put her creative energy into fashion. The former WWE star said it was the only thing that kept her sane.

“When you’re not getting to wrestle on TV that much, it gives you a lot of time to put your creative brain into fashion. Let’s just put it that way. Like that is how I got a lot of my creativity out, truthfully. I’m just like, okay, how can I stand out and piece this together? Because the look I had sometimes, I’m like, I don’t have to say anything. So, at least like let me try to stand out and make this special by, you know, doing cool things with the fashion. Like, that was such a big part of, um, honestly, what kept me sane while when I didn’t get to do much. But, uh, I was thinking a lot about the Countess in American Horror Story,” she said.

Scarlett Bordeaux further added that Lady Gaga and Elizabeth Hurley from Bedazzled formed the inspiration for her Smokeshow gimmick.

“So, Lady Gaga’s character. Gaga was a huge inspiration for that. Uh, character-wise, I’ve always been compared to, uh, Elizabeth Hurley in Bedazzled. That was a big part of the Smokeshow. Um, just like this glamorous, devilish s*x pot, I guess. And then once once, um, the paranormal stuff started, I’m like, ‘Oh, let me throw in the occult, witchy magic stuff in there. Let’s put some bones and stuff on there and like just mash it all together. Amazing. We got, uh, deadly vampire queen wrapped in human flesh. Fantastic. Easy, easy, easy,” she said.
