Ex-WWE Star Returns To Wrestling 5 Months After Retirement
One former WWE talent is back in the ring just five months after teasing their retirement.
Retirement was the watchword in WWE in 2025 as Goldberg hung up his boots in the summer before John Cena had the final match of his career on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Both men were sent off into the sunset with losses against the dominant Gunther.
Gunther continued his career-killing ways at the Royal Rumble when he also defeated AJ Styles, forcing him to retire. Styles will now be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, seemingly putting any suggestion of a move to AEW on hold, at least for now.
WWE ID Talent Back In The Ring
Back in October 2025, Zara Zakher teased that they’d perhaps be saying goodbye to wrestling after her WWE ID contract came to an end:
As of today, my contract with WWE ID has expired, and I’ll be taking a step back from wrestling. I’m so grateful for all the people I’ve met and everyone who’s supported me. I don’t know if or when I’ll be back, but I’m hopeful for the future.
Now, Zakher has got back in the ring to continue her career with Primal Wrestling.
During her short stint in WWE, she appeared on the EVOVE show, sharing the ring with the likes of Kylie Rae, Kendal Grey, and current AEW star Zayda Steel.
