Ex-WWE Star Makes Major Career Choice: “It’s Just B**bs; Who Cares?”

A former WWE star has explained a major career choice she made.

Shelly Martinez (formerly known as Ariel) had a brief run in WWE before she was released in 2007. She later had another short run in TNA Wrestling. The 46-year-old then made sporadic appearances on the independent circuit before retiring from wrestling in 2017.

Away from the squared circle, Martinez explored other options to earn a living, including posing nude and topless. Nevertheless, she recently admitted that she regretted taking that step.

The Ex-WWE Star Doesn’t Want To Pose Nude Again

Speaking on her Too Much Information podcast, Martinez disclosed that after vowing to herself that she would never pose nude again, she broke her rule during a low time in her life when a fan offered her a significant amount of money.

The former WWE Diva disclosed that it still hurts her to this day knowing that these photos exist. Meanwhile, she explained that she now has several wrestling-related ways to make money without having to do adult content.

I swear to you, like, sometime within days, some kind of form of money will come my way that doesn’t make me feel shame. Whether it’s landing a gig, selling a bunch of merchandise, doing a signing, or whatever, like something always pops up shortly after.

The former Ariel pointed out that although some think her nude photos were not a big deal, she insisted they were for her.

And I know some people would think, ‘It’s just b**bs; who cares? Whatever.’ The point is I care. I care that this person has this photo of me in a way that I broke the contract with myself.
