“Hated” Ex-WWE Star Pitched To Return As Jade Cargill’s Manager
WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill’s promo work has been called out by fans and analysts, and this veteran feels she could use a good manager.
Jade Cargill faces a huge task at WrestleMania 42 when she puts her Women’s Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley.
Ripley earned her spot after winning the Elimination Chamber match and, in their most recent promo on SmackDown, had the last word, too.
Cargill came out to say that she isn’t afraid of anybody and never has been. But when Ripley made her way to the ring, Cargill casually moved out of it.
This led Ripley to call Cargill’s hypocrisy out and vow to make The Storm her B***h at WrestleMania 42.
Vince Russo Thinks That Jade Cargill Needs A Manager in WWE
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently said on Coach & Bro that Cargill’s promo work is poor, and historically, since wrestlers who aren’t great on the mic are elevated by good managers, he thinks The Storm could use one too.
He had two suggestions: either Bianca Belair, who is out of action nursing a broken finger, or even former WWE star Eve Marie, who received much heat backstage for her lack of wrestling skills back in her day.
Russo pointed out how WWE’s official highlights package cut out Cargill’s promo and left only Ripley’s, implying that the company is doing it on purpose, understanding that Cargill’s promo skills are limited.
He then went on to give the two aforementioned suggestions for being Jade’s managers.
You know who could be a great manager for Jade [Cargill]? Man, who was that redhead they all hated! Eva Marie! Bro, she’d be a great [manager]. They hate her! That’s what I’m talking about.
But, bro, that’s what I’m saying, anybody there knows Jade can’t cut a promo. If you think she is going to be a star and she can’t get a promo, again, you have to do something about it. If you’re not doing anything about it, then you’re setting her up to fail and putting all the heat on her.
