Ex-AEW Champion Makes Shocking WWE Debut At Royal Rumble

WWE Men’s Royal Rumble headlined the event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after an exciting night of action saw some memorable events take place throughout the night.

Legendary WWE wrestler, AJ Styles, unfortunately called time on his WWE career after he lost to Gunther, after he had put his career on the line against the Ring General.

The Men’s Royal Rumble also saw some huge moments, including the shocking attack on Bron Breakker, which made him the first participant to be eliminated from the match.

Powerhouse Hobbs debuts during WWE Royal Rumble

The first major surprise during the Men’s Royal Rumble came at almost the halfway point of the match as it saw the debut of former AEW Champion, Powerhouse Hobbs, in the TKO-owned promotion.

Hobbs debuted under a new moniker, Royce Keys, in the Stamford-based promotion and made an immediate impact during the match. He took Damian Priest out of the Rumble and immediately got into a fight with another former AEW star, Cody Rhodes.
