Dustin Rhodes Shares Special Tribute To Cody Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes has paid an emotional tribute to his brother, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

The elder Rhodes brother is currently contracted to AEW so was unable to appear on-screen during the in-ring celebrations that followed Cody Rhodes’ victory over Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania XL, although he was able to watch his sibling finish his story backstage.

Dustin Rhodes is arguably best remembered for portraying the groundbreaking character of Goldust in WWE, where he captured the Intercontinental Championship on three occasions in the mid 1990s.

The pair are the sons of late WWE Hall Of Famer ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes and partnered to win the WWE Tag Team Championship on two occasions as well as joining forces with their Father in a memorable feud with The Shield in 2013.

Despite working in competing organisations, the pair have always been vocal in their support for each other with Dustin Rhodes recently taking to social media site X to deliver an emotional tribute following his recent successes in WWE:

“Brother, there is nothing I want more for you than your happiness. We each have had our own path, we each have blazed our own trail and succeeded. We DO,when others WON’T.

You have become the man I always wanted to be. Whether you know it or not, you are an inspiration to me in all areas of life. Honestly, in everything I do, I think of you. I am your older brother and will always fight for you and my family. Family is all that matters to me.

You have done and continued to make unbelievable steps in your growth as a man, husband and father. I could not be any prouder of you Code!!

I love you more than you know!! #TheBrotherhood @CodyRhodes “

Dustin Rhodes Discusses His Own Legacy

55 year-old Dustin Rhodes has enjoyed a Hall Of Fame worthy career in his own right, with successful runs in WCW, WWE and AEW to his name during an impressive 35-year stint in the business.

Whilst proud of his in-ring accomplishments, Rhodes recently revealed that a non-wrestling achievement would stand as his greatest legacy.
