Dominik Mysterio To Ditch Liv Morgan And Start A New Romance In WWE?
Since becoming a pair at SummerSlam 2024, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan have been like a house on fire.
At the August PLE, Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley as she challenged Morgan for the Women’s World Champion. Ripley was then kicked out of The Judgment Day, with Morgan becoming the new member.
In addition to making regular appearances in WWE, the kayfabe couple has made its presence felt in AAA, too, where Mysterio is the current Mega Champion.
WWE had previously introduced Roxanne Perez into the faction as a way to break up Dom and Liv, but soon dropped the plan.
Despite there being no hints at the couple parting ways, it continues to be a hotly debated topic among fans.
The Possiblity Of Dominik Mysterio Ditching Liv Morgan At WrestleMania 42 Explored
During a recent taping of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, host Sam Roberts was asked whether he saw a double turn between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer during their title match at WrestleMania 42.
The user cited that Morgan is a major star all by herself, whereas Vaquer could use help with her character and Dominik Mysterio could step in.
Roberts rejected the idea, claiming that he’s not a fan of ‘Dirty’ Dom and Morgan being apart.
Yes. Could I see that happening? Yes, I could see that happening. Could Liv Morgan be a babyface tomorrow? Yes. You know, I was apprehensive about the idea of Dominik Mysterio leaving Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan because the chemistry between them was so unbelievable.
But somehow, Liv and Dom together became even better than Rhea and Dom together. And I would not break them two up for anything…I was against the idea of seeing Dom and Roxanne together when they started hinting at that and dropped it.
I don’t think I wanna see…it just doesn’t make any sense to see Stephanie Vaquer and Dom together because you’d almost feel like Stephanie Vaquer was being taken advantage of by Dom. And the whole, like, thing about the Dominik Mysterio character is that the woman he’s with have has to be this sort of powerful woman that guides the relationship.
And I think that while physically Stephanie Vaquer is that power, I don’t think from a story-driving persepective she is. I think Dominik drives the story more than Stephanie does. [1:02:00 onwards]
