Debuting NXT Superstar Gets Shot At North American Championship Next Week
All Ego Ethan Page has had a hugely successful run as the NXT North American Champion since winning the belt from Ricky Saints in May of last year, and is the longest-reigning champion in WWE currently.
Page has held the title for 232 days now and is just a little over a month away from beating Oba Femi’s record run with the belt of 272 days. However, it looks like the champion will have to work his way to the milestone.
He recently defended his title against Moose on the black and silver brand’s last episode of 2025 and looked to get himself inserted in the six-man ladder match for the NXT title.

However, the NXT General Manager, Ava, seems to have other plans for her longest-reigning champion, and she announced that Ethan Page would defend his title against Elio LeFluer next week.
The French Luchador recently signed with the promotion and made his first WWE appearance Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide Alianzas event in November last year.

He is set to make his debut on the black and silver brand next week and has an opportunity to become champion in only his first match on the brand.
