WWE Dave Bautista Batista

The legendary former WWE superstar Dave Bautista has revealed just how much weight he has lost since his days in the wrestling ring.

As a former six-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion who wrestled as “The Animal” Batista, Dave Bautista was one of the biggest WWE superstars in the Ruthless Aggression Era from the early from when he

In 2014, Batista returned for a run that lasted several months including a Royal Rumble win (that the fans hated) and a WrestleMania 30 main event loss, which was nine years after he won his first World Title in WWE at WrestleMania 21 in 2005. Batista came back again for his farewell match at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, which was a loss to his wrestling mentor Triple H.

Since leaving WWE as a full-timer in 2010, Dave Bautista has gone on to have a very successful acting career in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as many leading roles throughout his career.

Dave Bautista is starring in a new film called The Killer’s Game that also stars WWE’s Drew McIntyre. While talking to Chris Van Vliet, Bautista revealed that his current weight of 240 pounds is over 100 pounds less than the most he ever weighed in his life.

“I’m getting super trimmed. This is probably the lightest I’ve been since I was 19 years old.”

“The heaviest I’ve ever been was 370 pounds. When I started Deacon, I was about 325 pounds. Throughout most of my wrestling career, I was about 290 pounds. Now I’m about 240 pounds. Just a year and a half ago for Knock At The Cabin, I went up to 315 pounds and that’s when the nightmare started. Getting that weight off has been a real challenge.“

WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Interests Dave Bautista

While speaking about his WWE past, Dave Bautista has also made it clear he still wants to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He was originally going to be in the 2020 Hall of Fame, but then COVID-19 hit and it was canceled for that year. A year later, WWE did the inductions and Bautista wanted to wait until fans were present.

There were plans for Bautista to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023 in Los Angeles, but he had a movie out of the country and wasn’t able to attend. That induction is obviously coming in the future, but there’s no news yet on when it might happen.
