Date Of WWE WrestleMania 43 In Saudi Arabia Potentially Revealed
In September 2025, WWE announced that Saudi Arabia would host WrestleMania 43 in 2027.
Triple H, along with a handful of wrestlers and the Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, made the announcement during a press conference.
It will be the first time the Showcase of the Immortals has moved outside North America since its premiere in 1985. Many fans were unhappy with the decision, citing various legal and moral issues.
Riyadh was also the host of the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE, where Liv Morgan and Roman Reigns won the namesake tournament in the women’s and men’s divisions.
A few weeks ago, several reports claimed that WWE was internally discussing its decision to host WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia due to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
On April 23, the company’s MENA X account officially confirmed that the Night of Champions event would be hosted in The Kingdom on June 27, hinting at ease in the local war-like situation.
Potential Date Of WWE WrestleMania Revealed
The confirmation of Night of Champions is an indicator that WWE has decided against moving WrestleMania out of Saudi Arabia for now.
According to a report on WrestleVotes Radio, internal discussions within the company has led to March 27, 2027, emerging as a targeted date for the Showcase of the Immortals. Another alternative is April 10.
Elsewhere, Fightful noted that as opposed to two nights, WrestleMania 43 might be a one-nighter. Sean Ross Sapp also claimed that ESPN hopes for it to be a two-night event.
Recently, WWE President Nick Khan spoke at the CAA World Congress of Sports, confirming that WrestleMania would indeed take place in Saudi Arabia.
We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi. First time ever, WrestleMania will be outside the United States or Canada. We’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them.
WrestleMania 42 took place over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, with John Cena as its host.
Held across two nights, viewers witnessed Cody Rhodes retain his Undisputed Championship against Randy Orton and CM Punk lose his World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns.
Also, Liv Morgan beat Stephanie Vaquer to become the new Women’s World Champion, whereas Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the Women’s Championship.
Brock Lesnar retired following his loss to Oba Femi, which apparently was an unplanned spot. WWE hopes to bring Lesnar back for SummerSlam in August 2026.
