The AEW World Champion, MJF, has a huge target painted on his back with multiple challengers stepping up to him for the World Championship recently.

After finishing up with his programme with Gabe Kidd and The Dogs, Darby Allin announced the next chapter of his AEW career and claimed that he will go after the World Championship now.

However, MJF had another idea up his sleeve to stop the Daredevil, and he hired the Don Callis Family to take care of Allin, with Don Callis happily accepting the large sum of cash MJF provided him.

Don Callis announced that Andrade El Idolo will be the one to address the Darby Allin problem, as he was hand-picked by him and MJF. This left Andrade confused, as he wants to challenge for the World Championship himself.

He went ahead with the match despite not being very pleased about the situation and dominated Allin in the early stages of the match. Both of them continued brawling throughout the arena and were wrestling among the Vancouver crowd.

An incredibly hard-hitting match between the two seemed to head towards Darby’s favor after hitting a Scorpion Death Drop, but Andrade caught the referee’s hand to stop the pin while kicking out.

Andrade then looked for the win after hitting him with a back elbow, but Darby kicked out at the last second. He then shocked Andrade after trapping him in a quick pin in the ring.

Andrade El Idolo ended the match with a show of respect with Darby Allin as he shocked and raised his hand as Darby Allin earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship as stipulated by MJF and Don Callis.
