Current IMPACT Star Expected Back In WWE

IMPACT Wrestling

A current IMPACT Wrestling performer is expected to return to WWE, having reportedly filmed an exit vignette during the latest IMPACT tapings.

WWE has made several additions to its roster since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque came to power in July. This has largely featured the return of several released Superstars, including Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Braun Strowman, The Good Brothers, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY, the majority of whom have been booked drastically different compared to their first WWE stints.

Chelsea Green may be the next returning WWE Superstar, per reports from PWInsider. ‘The Hot Mess’ is said to have filmed an exit vignette during the latest IMPACT Wrestling tapings, which is slated to air following a taped match vs. Mickie James. It’s believed this will have a loser leaves IMPACT stipulation.

Green’s WWE return had initially been hinted at by WrestleVotes, who reported on October 12 that there was interest from within the sports entertainment surrounding her comeback. Chelsea had previously been cut from WWE in April 2021, alongside Mickie James, Samoa Joe, The IIconics, and countless others.

The former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion has resided in the Anthem-helmed promotion since the 2021 Slammiversary pay-per-view, tagging with now-husband Matt Cardona. She’s since held the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships alongside Deonna Purrazzo in the VXT pairing.

Though not official, Chelsea Green appears to have confirmed her departure from IMPACT in a tweet. Posting a photo of her and Deonna making their entrance, Green noted that she’d left everyone #VXT from the beginning.
