In Week 2 of NXT Revenge, Sol Ruca faced Zaria in a Last Woman Standing match.

The former best friends had also clashed on this week’s Raw, where Ruca challenged WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in a singles match. Zaria interfered in the closing minutes, shoving Ruca into the ring post, thus costing her a deserved victory.

On Tuesday, however, all bets were off as every piece of equipment around the ring, and all maneuvers became legal during their bout. The only way to win the match was to incapacitate the opponent to a degree where they could not answer the referee’s 10-count.

Both women utilized weapons like kendo sticks, tables, a piece of the announcer’s table, and more. At one point during the match, Sol Ruca speared Zaria through the wall, but could not keep Zaria down for the entire count.

Later, Zaria retaliated with an F5 on Ruca, sending her crashing through the commentator’s desk.

In the closing minutes, Zaria set up a table beside another table that was put up by Ruca earlier. She then eyed the platform, which was about 15 feet high from the floor.

Gradually, the action moved up to the platform where they traded hard shots to each other’s faces. Sol Ruca gained the advantage by almost pushing her opponent off the platform, but grabbed her by one hand.

Both women then smiled and hugged each other, but it was a ruse on the part of Zaria, who ended up shoving Ruca off the platform.

While Ruca was supposed to crash through both tables, she went through the nearest one, with the back of her head smacking the edge of the other table as she fell to the ground.

The spot was reminiscent of the botch involving Spike Dudley and La Resistance.

Sol Ruca Attended To By Medical Professionals After NXT Match

After being put through the table, Sol Ruca failed to answer the referee’s 10-count, handing Zaria the victory.

What should have been the moment that pushed Zaria as one of the top heels on NXT shifted the conversation towards the condition of her 26-year-old nemesis.

Viewers could see the concern on the faces of the commentators as well as the live audience in the Performance Center.

After the show went off air, referees and medical staff rushed in to check on Ruca, who seemingly sustained a cut to the back of her head.

Zaria, meanwhile, headed to the ringside instead of walking backstage. However, she remained in character and walked past her fallen foe as a sign of disrespect.

Shortly afterward, Sol Ruca was able to get back to her feet with assistance before being escorted by the officials. Before going backstage, she acknowledged the crowd, letting them know that she was fine.

On Monday, it was also made clear that Ruca was main roster-bound, having spent 4 years on the developmental brand. It remains to be seen if her first official appearance as a main roster superstar comes to pass on April 27.

Speaking on the latest episode of Raw Recap, she claimed that she was unsure of her permanent status, but was hopeful that the transition was full-time.
