Cody Rhodes Seen With A Unique Look Just Days Before WWE WrestleMania 42
Cody Rhodes got into a different kind of character in a recent appearance.
WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been at the epicentre of a feud with Randy Orton, his WrestleMania 42 opponent, especially after the inclusion of former WWE commentator and NFL punter Pat McAfee, aligning with The Viper.
The American Nightmare has taken multiple beatings in the build-up to WrestleMania 42, both from Orton and McAfee. Despite being the babyface in the feud, Rhodes has regularly gotten booed by a majority of the fans who would stop at nothing to cheer Randy Orton and his hunt for a 15th WWE World Championship, despite Orton being the heel.
McAfee named Rhodes as the problem in WWE, and gave the reasoning for aligning with Orton, saying that Orton will dethrone Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 and save the business from its current state, which, according to McAfee, is in bad shape because of a “corporate champion” like Rhodes.
Amidst his WrestleMania 42 program, Rhodes also attended another major event recently, where he was dressed up as a completely different, but popular, character, one he is playing in an upcoming Hollywood movie.
Cody Rhodes Dresses Up As Guile During Street Fighter Movie Special Event
Cody Rhodes stars as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter movie alongside a star-studded cast including Noah Centineo, 50 Cent, Andrew Koji, and David Dastmalchian.
Rhodes appeared at the event in full Guile attire. One of the coolest known video game characters in fighting games, Guile has an attitude that Rhodes showcased by cutting a WWE-esque promo in Guile’s style.
He jokes about low military budgets and having milk for strength.
