Cody Rhodes Safe After Tour Bus Fire

Cody Rhodes looking into the crowd

Cody Rhodes is facing perhaps the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 40 but before he gets in the ring in Philadelphia he’s had to deal with a bus disaster.

Taking to social media, Cody Rhodes revealed that he faced a serious mishap ahead of WrestleMania as his tour bus caught fire but thankfully nobody was hurt during the ordeal:

Before you hear it elsewhere – my tour bus caught fire last night Everybody is safe and okay The 2 items I grabbed before I got off will probably pop wrestling fans Again, thank you @PhillyFireDept

Rhodes later revealed to Pat McAfee that the two items he grabbed from the bus were a photo of his family and his wrestling boots – nothing is going to stop him from competing at WrestleMania it would seem.

Cody Rhodes Faces Bloodline Challenge At WrestleMania

On night one of WrestleMania 40 Cody Rhodes will have a say in how his WWE Universal Championship match on night two will go when he teams up with Seth Rollins to face The Rock and Roman Reigns.

If Rhodes and Rollins win, then The Bloodline will banned from ringside for Rhodes’ title shot against Roman Reigns meaning The Tribal Chief will have to beat The American Nightmare all by himself, something he failed to do at WrestleMania 39.

If The Rock and Roman Reigns are successful, however, then it will be ‘Bloodline Rules’ when Rhodes and Reigns square off. Quite what the means remains to be seen but it will certainly allow The Bloodline every opportunity to keep the title on The Tribal Chief.

Cody Rhodes has already promised one big change should he defeat Roman Reigns for the title as he looks to spearhead WWE into a whole new era.
