CM Punk’s Chemistry With Roman Reigns Transcends WWE

CM Punk and Roman Reigns are two of WWE’s biggest babyfaces. The last time they were on WWE TV at the same time, they worked together against WWE’s top heels. 

The Best in the World and The OTC joined forces with Cody Rhodes and The Usos to take on The Vision’s Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, along with Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre.

The babyfaces lost the face, and Reigns teased a rivalry with The American Nightmare before leaving the steel cage. However, that match seems to have been scrapped from WrestleMania 42.

CM Punk and Roman Reigns are working together outside WWE

The rivalry between Punk and Reigns is strongly connected with Paul Heyman. The OTC could be pinning his downfall on the World Heavyweight Champion since Punk demanded that Heyman accompany him to WrestleMania 42 and not Reigns. This is where The Oracle betrayed Reigns for good.

While fans wait for Reigns to return to WWE TV, he has already worked with CM Punk in Hollywood. Both of them voice a pair of Zebra cops in Zootopia 2.

During an interview with ABC News, CM Punk claimed that their on-screen chemistry in WWE played a role in both of them working together in Zootopia 2.

I think the on-screen chemistry that we share in WWE obviously translated. Somebody saw it, somebody thought we would be a good fit for the Zebros, so we’re doing something right.

Amid Roman Reigns’ absence from WWE, Punk has defended the title against Bron Breakker and will soon defend it against Finn Balor.
