CM Punk’s Camp Changing Stance That Young Bucks ‘Kicked Down’ Locker Room Door
The rumors surrounding the CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and Young Bucks drama are at an all-time high.
This past Sunday, All Elite Wrestling had one of their most successful pay-per-view events of company history in the form of All Out. However, nothing that happened during the show is what everyone is talking about, just days removed from the show.
In case you somehow haven’t heard, following his AEW World Title victory in the show’s main event, CM Punk met with the media and wasted no time in going after his colleagues. In a length verbal tirade, which was directed at Punk’s former friend and Ring Of Honor star, Colt Cabana in addition to the AEW EVP’s and now-former World Trios Champions, Kenny Omega and Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks.
Following his media availability, Punk, Omega, The Bucks, Punk’s close friend and AEW Producer, Ace Steel in addition to numerous other AEW personnel and on-screen talent, were involved in a physically altercation, which was originally reported as to being ignited when The Bucks ‘kicked down’ Punk’s locker room door.
However, in an updated provided by Fightful Select, it appears as if Punk’s side of the story has recently changed, perhaps signifying that Matt and Nick didn’t actually kick through the now-former AEW World Champion’s locker room door. Per the report, the Punk and Steel side of the story have ‘softened’ on their stance that the Jackson’s kicked down their locker room door and now claim that the former AEW Tag Team Champions ‘shouldered or otherwise forced their way in’.
A series of suspensions were reportedly quietly handed down to Punk, Omega, The Bucks, and Steel as well as Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, and Pat Buck, who were all allegedly involved in the scuffle.
Both Punk and The Elite had their newly-minted titles vacated during the 9/7 episode of AEW Dynamite as a result of the brawl.
