CM Punk is the official cover star of the Standard Edition of WWE 2K26, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 13, 2026.

In a recent video shared on the official WWE 2K26 X/Twitter account, Punk reflected on several of his past in-game character models. While revisiting his WrestleMania 27 look, Punk said that he is reconsidering a bold style from that era, implying that he feels like shaving his head again.

Punk said, “This is classic, classic CM Punk. I think it’s beautiful. That’s clearly, I mean, I think I’m in my WrestleMania 27 gear. Man, I wish I could shave my head again.”

Punk is set to headline one of this year’s WrestleMania 42 nights on April 18–19 against Roman Reigns. Reigns earned that match after winning the Royal Rumble and choosing Punk as his opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk Is Happy To Face Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 42

Speaking recently with TalkSport, CM Punk said he was happy Reigns made the choice, noting it spared him the uncertainty of waiting to see who emerged from the Elimination Chamber.

I’ve just appreciated that he picked me so I don’t have to pay any attention to the Elimination Chamber and I don’t got to worry about who’s in that and who’s winning that. It’s champ problems.

You know, like heading into Mania, being the champion is a lot of responsibility. I feel like it’s great, but it also to me kind of almost takes the target off my back. I don’t have to be in the Rumble. I don’t have to go through hell in the Chamber. So I’m doing my best to rest and recover all the little nagging things I got going on.

Before Mania, Punk is set to defend his title against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber in his hometown, Chicago.
