CM Punk & Kenny Omega Kept Apart At Forbidden Door

CM Punk

Ever since it became clear that CM Punk was returning to AEW, questions have been asked about how he will co-exist backstage with The Elite.

CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks infamously got into a backstage fight at All Out 2022 leading to all four of them being stripped of their respective titles and suspended for a spell.

Now, they are all back in the fold and while there seems to be a plan in place to keep Punk and The Elite away from each other for the most part given Punk’s role on Saturday Night Collision and The Elite sticking to Dynamite on Wednesdays, all four men were at the Forbidden Door show in Toronto.

While Forbidden Door was on the air Fightful Select reported that CM Punk and Kenny Omega were kept on separate sides of the building backstage in the Scotiabank Arena.

CM Punk has previously expressed his desire to sit down with his adversaries and talk the whole thing out but this has been prevented from happening by the company so far.

While there seems to be no reconciliation in the offing between Punk and The Elite, Eddie Kingston has taken issue with the idea that there is a divided locker room in the company.
