CM Punk Takes Brutal Shot At WWE Champion: “He Looks So Stupid”

CM Punk has a long-standing rivalry with Dominik Mysterio that dates back to 2010 when Punk was feuding with Dom’s father, Rey Mysterio.

The two often trade insults on WWE television and social media. On February 2, 2026, Punk delivered another jab at Mysterio when he wrote “Dom Mysterio is an idiot” on a WWE Raw Topps Chrome card.

CM Punk Can’t Stop Himself From Insulting Dominik Mysterio

During his interview on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams, CM Punk was asked why he chose to sign the Topps card with that message. Punk explained that he was asked to sign the card and say something provocative.

At the time, the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio, happened to walk by, so Punk zeroed in on him, felt he stupid foolish in that moment, and decided to write it.

Ques: Why were you signing Topps cards with Dom Mysterio is an idiot?

Punk: Oh, that was a one-off. I think the card collecting thing is, it’s big again, you know. So, they asked me, they said, “Here’s one card. It’s going to be one of one. Sign your name and talk some sh*t.” And I was like, “Man, what am I going to I don’t know.” That’s too blanket a statement. I can’t just, you know, so I just zeroed in on Dom because I think I saw him walk by as I was signing the card, and he just looks so stupid. It’s hard to not point that out. (From 6:30 – 6:58)
