A beloved WWE Superstar accused CM Punk of stealing his finishing move. The star in question is the Very Nice Very Evil, Danhausen.

At the Elimination Chamber PLE earlier this year, Danhausen made his highly anticipated WWE debut, coming out of a mystery box. While many fans booed him during his debut, as they had expected something else, Danhausen has managed to impress everyone with his entertaining skits, and he is now one of the top merch sellers in the company as well. The Very Nice Very Evil has also been close friends with CM Punk for the past few years.

Danhausen shared the locker room with Punk during their time together in AEW, and they are now in the WWE locker room together as well. Meanwhile, Danhausen has joked about Punk stealing his finisher.

Speaking on the WWE Now Backlash Recap, Danhausen joked that CM Punk stole his finishing move. Very Nice Very Evil recalled how Punk was allowed to have ‘GTS’ as his finisher when he was retired, but took it back three months later when he came back:

He owes me, he stole my finishing move, I can’t do it here. He was retired, and I said ‘Hey, I’ve been doing this.’ He says, ‘It’s yours.’ Then he came out of retirement like three months later and took it back,” Danhausen stated. [h/t WrestleTalk]

Danhausen addressed the rumors of CM Punk and others being his mystery partner at WWE Backlash

At the WWE Backlash 2026 PLE, Danhausen was announced for a tag team match against the team of The Miz and Kit Wilson. As it was a mystery who Danhausen’s partner would be, there were rumors and speculations that CM Punk or Jelly Roll could be his partner for the tag encounter. However, Danhausen’s mystery partner turned out to be Minihausen, who helped him defeat The Miz and Kit Wilson.

During the Backlash Recap show, Danhausen addressed the speculations of his mystery partner being CM Punk, Oba Femi, or Jelly Roll before the match happened. He stated the following:

Here’s the thing, people go ‘Oh, it’s confirmed it’s Cola-Man Punk, oh it’s confirmed it’s Oba Femi.’ They’re great, however… who said that? Who put that responsibility on me? I didn’t even want to find one [partner], why would I ask them? It’s Jelly Roll, it’s Cola-Man Punk, it’s Oba,’ I saw these were confirmed stories by the way. All three within a week, all confirmed. I should’ve had all of them.”

It remains to be seen what’s next for Danhausen.
