Shocking Claim Made About The Rock’s WWE Future
The Rock may or may not return to WWE, and this veteran recently revealed his thoughts about it.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been missing from WWE TV since his last appearance at Elimination Chamber 2025, when he was heavily involved in the build-up to the WrestleMania 41 main event between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, even playing a part in John Cena’s now infamous final heel turn.
He mysteriously vanished from TV, and the angle was continued without him in the mix. Dwayne Johnson went on to play the character of Mark Kerr in the film The Smashing Machine and earned himself a Golden Globe nomination for it.
He has been heavily rumoured for a return at WrestleMania 43 next year in Riyadh with the Saudis reportedly contemplating a record-breaking fee for The Final Boss’ appearance.
The Rock’s daughter, Ava Raine, who worked in NXT as the general manager of the show, recently quit WWE. Although it’s being reported that she got a lower contract offer than expected, Ava has yet to comment on the real reason behind her exit.
The Rock Will Never Return, Says Former WWE Employee Tommy Carlucci
Speaking on Coach & Bro, Tommy Carlucci answered a fan question about The Rock by saying that he thinks The Rock is way beyond working in the ring now, having reached new heights in his acting career with his recent Golden Globes nomination.
There’s a lot of heat there, coach. I’m going to go out on a limb and say I don’t think we’ll ever see The Rock in the ring again working. I don’t think you’ll ever see him. He’s way beyond that. We saw him at the Golden Globes.
All things considered, fans would still eat it up if The People’s Champion ever returned to the ring so much as to introduce a PLE.
