Chris Jericho posted a video featuring a fan in which he brought back one of his famous WWE gimmicks.

There was speculation to end 2025 that Chris Jericho would leave AEW when his contract expired at year’s end and join WWE to start 2026. A lot of wrestling fans were hoping that Chris Jericho would appear at the first WWE Monday Night Raw episode of 2026. It didn’t happen.

The Royal Rumble took place on January 31st, and Jericho wasn’t there either.

We are now in early March with WrestleMania 42 over a month away, and Jericho hasn’t returned to WWE after spending the last six years in AEW.

In the most recent Chris Jericho update, it was reported that AEW added time to his contract because he didn’t work for the company at all after his last match in April 2025. It appears as if nobody really knows when he might leave AEW or if he will return to WWE, where he worked from August 1999 for most of the next 20 years.

Chris Jericho Brings “The List” Back

When Chris Jericho was in WWE in 2016-17, his heel persona would carry around a list of people whose names he would write down as if he was going to get payback on them. Sometimes the people on “The List” were wrestlers in the company, fans at the show, or even people at home. It was random and usually silly.

The List story ended up creating a memorable moment when Kevin Owens turned on his buddy Jericho when Chris saw his name on KO’s list. Jerico asked: “Why is my name on the list?” That led to Owens attacking his friend and set up their WrestleMania 33 match, which Jericho won.

In a video on his TikTok, Chris Jericho shared a clip from the Big Texas Terror fan event in San Antonio, Texas, where he was holding “The List of Jericho” one more time and he wrote something down on the list, much to the delight of the fans.

Due to Jericho sharing a WWE gimmick like The List, it has led to fans wondering if that means he’s coming back to WWE, or if he’s just sharing it because it was a fun moment.
