Chris Jericho Challenged To AEW Title Match After Missing WWE Elimination Chamber
Chris Jericho did not show up at the Elimination Chamber despite heavy speculation.
Chris Jericho has been heavily linked to a move back to WWE for the past several months.
The latest rumours were that Jericho would turn out to be the person inside the mystery crate that was introduced by WWE on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
However, unfortunately for the WWE Universe, it wasn’t to be as the mystery crate was unveiled and the wrestler to come out of it was indie wrestling star Danhausen, revealed as WWE’s latest roster entry.
Chris Jericho Challenged To AEW Title Match
Chris Jericho’s AEW contract ended on December 31st, 2025, which is one of the reasons fans and analysts thought he was heading back to the WWE.
Instead, newsis out that his contract is being extended to cover the months of action he missed in 2025.
Amidst this, AEW National Champion, Ricochet, has issued an open challenge to Jericho on X.
