Chelsea Green Makes Heartbreaking Confession About WWE Future
Despite dealing with an injury, Chelsea Green continues to make appearances on WWE SmackDown.
On February 6, Green was part of a 3-way match against Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton, with the winner earning a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.
While Stratton ultimately won the bout, Chelsea managed to put on a good performance, even executing a couple of high-risk maneuvers to take out her opponents.
After the match, it was revealed that the Canadian superstar had sustained a foot injury. While it was initially believed to be a minor strain, Chelsea Green later confirmed that her bone was cracked.
Ever since, the 34-year-old has been wearing a walking boot and using a wheelchair for her SmackDown appearances, especially during segments/matches involving Tiffany Stratton.
“No One Is Untouchable In WWE”: Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green is focused on the present as she believes in the unpredictable nature of the future. She is also aware of the risks of becoming complacent, which is why she has been vigilant in her approach.
During her interview with Esteban Ramizez, the host reminded her about her growing fanbase and how she might become undeniable in the future.
In response, the former WWE Women’s United States Champion claimed that she is always on her toes and can never feel secure due to the way the business operates.
You’re telling me that but I don’t know, I don’t feel that way. I’m always working to make sure that I’m leveling up, that my jokes are funnier, that my outfits are better, that I’m not becoming complacent at the workplace.
Even you telling me that, that feels amazing but I’ve been released from WWE so many times and this journey has been so bumpy, so I don’t know that I’ll ever just feel secure and feel like, ‘Yeah, I’m impenetrable.’ It’s show business, no one is untouchable, I don’t know. [H/T: Fightful]
Meanwhile, Chelsea Green has achieved progress with her injury status, as she was recently filmed kicking a field goal.
