Charlotte Flair Reveals Difference In Relationship With Bayley, Becky Lynch & Mercedes Moné
Charlotte Flair gets candid about her strong bond with Bayley in a recent interview.
Charlotte Flair and Bayley have had many feuds on WWE TV across NXT, Raw, and SmackDown.
Their most memorable feud was in 2019 when Bayley turned heel, and both women feuded over the SmackDown Women’s Championship, with Charlotte Flair winning the title by defeating Bayley, and Bayley later winning it back by beating Charlotte.
Charlotte Flair Talks About Relationship With Co-Star Bayley
In late 2025, Bayley organized a camp for independent women wrestlers called ‘Lodestone.’
Bayley has since released a mini-documentary of the camp.
Charlotte Flair attended the camp to assist Bayley. At the Super Bowl LX Radio Row (via The Ringer Wrestling Show), Flair recalled her experiences at the camp and praised Bayley for her work.
Well, for one, it’s just incredible what Bayley’s doing. I think Bayley has said something similar but, I really do forget I’ve had all these opportunities within the WWE and that these women look at me a certain way where I’m still thinking in my head, how do I figure this all out?
Where I never wanna be complacent and then, them having all these questions but also, for someone that’s ever only performed in the WWE, and seeing these women come together all across the world to wanna be where we are, it’s like, not wanting to take it for granted but, how inspiring are they that they’ve done all this with not a guaranteed future. It’s just incredible.
Charlotte Flair was then asked about her relationship with Bayley. The daughter of WWE Legend Ric Flair explained that their bond is stronger than ever, saying that it’s different than the bonds that she has with Mercedes Moné (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) and Becky Lynch.
We’ve all been at different places in our career at different times, and when I was facing Bayley was when she coming — never been on the same side so I’ve always been bad or she’s been good or then they flipped her and she turned bad and I turned good so, I think it’s more just what locker room you were in and you know, we’re both good right now on WWE television.
I feel like I have a bond that’s different with every single one of them. I feel like my bond now with Bayley is stronger than it’s ever been. But, she very much understands me as a person and a performer, and I very much understand her. So, I feel like I do have a really special bond with her that’s very much different than the one I have with Mercedes (Moné) and the one I have with Becky (Lynch).
Currently, Flair wrestles on SmackDown while Bayley wrestles on Raw. Bayley lost her most recent match on Raw after being pinned by Asuka, who qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match at the eponymous PLE on Feb 28.
