Charlotte Flair Reacts After Costing Top Star A Title Win At Night Of Champions
Charlotte Flair successfully took her revenge on Jade Cargill at Night of Champions.
The June 19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw Charlotte Flair face off against Liv Morgan in the semifinals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Ahead of the match, Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab attacked the Queen backstage, causing her to lose her match against the Women’s World Champion.
Flair returned the favor at Night of Champions when she interfered in Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s United States Championship match against Tiffany Stratton.
During the match, Jade Cargill’s friends, B-Fab and Michin, came to the ring to tip the scales in Jade’s favor. However, Chelsea Green showed up to neutralize the heels but was beaten down by Cargill.
Moments later, an injured Charlotte Flair made a surprise appearance and knocked down Jade Cargill with the WWE U.S. Women’s Title. Tiffany Stratton took this opportunity to pin her challenger and retain her championship belt.

As we head into SummerSlam, WWE is teasing a rivalry between Cargill and Charlotte. The creative had originally discussed pitching them against each other in a dream match at WrestleMania 42. However, those plans were scrapped.
Instead, Charlotte Flair competed on Night 1 of Mania, teaming up with Alexa Bliss. They wrestled in a Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, which was won by the returning star Paige and Brie Bella.
Meanwhile, Jade Cargill defended the WWE Women’s Title on Night 2 of Mania and lost the championship to Rhea Ripley.
