Charlotte Flair Handed Shocking Loss On WWE SmackDown

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw the build-up to next week’s Elimination Chamber gather pace as two more qualifying matches were set for the show.

With two qualifiers already scheduled for next week’s episode of RAW, tonight will be the last chance for SmackDown stars to make their entry in the match.

The first of two qualification matches saw Charlotte Flair take on Nia Jax and Kiana James, as she looked to join her partner, Alexa Bliss, in the chamber match next weekend.

Penultimate WWE Elimination Chamber spot sealed on SmackDown

Momentum kept changing hands between the three women as all three of them looked to seal the penultimate spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Flair gathered pace towards the end of the match and gave everything she had to pick up the win. She almost took both of her competitors out with a moonsault to both of them simultaneously, but only got a two-count.

Charlotte came agonizingly close to winning the match once again after Kiana James kicked out just in time from a Spanish Fly off the top turnbuckle. However, the match produced an unexpected surprise.

Jax was then powebombed from the top rope by Flair before she trapped her in the figure-eight leg lock. Just as Flair bridged for her submission, James swooped in and trapped her in a pin and stole the match away from The Queen.
