According to court documents, Cash Wheeler is requesting a jury trial after being charged with aggravated assault.

It was reported on August 18th that Cash Wheeler (real name Daniel Wheeler) had been arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. The alleged incident took place on July 27th.

According to a police report, Wheeler’s alleged victim claims that the star was “pointing a black semi-automatic handgun out of the driver’s window at him with a strong stare.” The alleged victim stated that he “feared for his life.”

According to court documents, Wheeler entered a plea of not guilty on August 3rd. In the not guilty plea, it was also revealed that he is requesting a jury trial. A portion of the plea reads:

“The undersigned attorney of The Umansky Law Firm, files this Notice of Appearance on behalf of the Defendant in the above-styled cause. The Defendant, by and through the undersigned attorney, hereby waives appearance for purposes of Arraignment and enters a plea of Not Guilty to the charges filed in this cause. The Defendant hereby requests a Jury Trial on the said charges and requests a copy of the Information filed against the Defendant.”

Will Cash Wheeler Be At AEW All In?

During Cash Wheeler’s arraignment on August 18th, a judge granted his release from jail on a $2500 and ordered that he have no contact with his alleged victims. He was also ordered to surrender all weapons in his possession within 12 hours of his release as he was not to have any weapons on his person.

Understandably, fans have begun to question whether the planned All In match between FTR and The Young Bucks will still be taking place. Court documents from Wheeler’s arraignment indicate that he is not being asked to surrender his passport. In addition, the court has not imposed any restrictions on him traveling internationally, and because he has not been convicted of a crime, he should have no problem traveling to the UK if All Elite Wrestling decides to go ahead with the match.

MJF took to social media to defend Wheeler, and in his post, he declared that the match between FTR and The Young Bucks would go ahead as planned.
